4029A and 4620 LED makeup cases alongside an LM6 freestanding makeup workstation

LED Makeup Case Configuration Guide: Mirror, Power and Workstation Setup

Choosing an LED makeup case starts with understanding how it will be used. Does the mirror need to work separately from the case? Will an external power connection be available? Does the user already have a table, or does the case need to form a freestanding workstation?
For distributors, beauty equipment purchasers and professional team buyers, these questions help define the required configuration before comparing individual specifications. A removable mirror, a fixed illuminated mirror and a case with support legs address different working arrangements. None automatically replaces the others.
This guide uses three Obeautycase products—4029A, 4620 and LM6—to explain those configuration decisions. The examples illustrate specific features rather than rank the products.

Decide Whether the Mirror Needs to Work Separately

Start by deciding whether the mirror should remain with the case during use. A buyer selecting equipment for an existing tabletop may have different requirements from a buyer who wants the mirror and storage to function as one setup.
4029A has a removable rechargeable LED mirror with rear support for desktop placement. This configuration is relevant when the mirror needs its own position on a table while the case is placed elsewhere. When reviewing a sample, consider where the mirror will stand and how the user will access the case at the same time.

4620 has a fixed LED mirror. Buyers should therefore evaluate the mirror and opened case together. The useful question is whether that combined arrangement fits the intended working position, rather than whether the mirror can be moved independently.

Be precise when requesting a detachable feature. A removable mirror is different from a removable storage compartment or removable support legs. State which component needs to separate and how it will be used afterward.
LM6 has an LED lighted mirror. Its role in this guide is to illustrate the freestanding workstation configuration; no fixed or removable mirror classification is assigned here.

Confirm How the Selected Configuration Is Powered

Power requirements should be matched to the working location. Before choosing a configuration, establish whether users will have an external connection available and which functions they expect to operate.
4029A includes a rechargeable LED mirror. Keep that description specific to the mirror: it does not establish that other equipment or functions can draw power from the same battery. Buyers should confirm the charging arrangements for their selected configuration without assuming a particular runtime.
4620 requires external DC power for its lighting during use, and an adapter is included. Buyers should account for that connection when planning where the opened case will sit. It should not be specified as a rechargeable or cordless lighting configuration.
LM6 includes a built-in rechargeable battery. Before ordering, confirm which functions the battery supports and when an external connection is required. The presence of a battery alone should not be interpreted as confirmation that the complete workstation operates without external power.
For a purchasing enquiry, separate three questions: what needs charging, what requires a connection during use, and which functions are supplied by the battery. This produces a clearer configuration requirement than simply requesting a “battery-powered case.”

Choose Between Tabletop Use and a Freestanding Workstation

The next decision concerns the surface available at the working location. If a suitable table is already part of the setup, a desktop mirror arrangement may meet the requirement. If the case itself needs to form a workstation, support components become part of the selection.
The removable mirror on 4029A has rear support for desktop placement. Buyers can assess the mirror position separately from the case position, using the intended table arrangement as the reference.
LM6 can be set up as a freestanding makeup workstation using four removable support legs. The legs store inside the case and offer two height-adjustment positions. These are specific structural features; they should not be interpreted as unlimited height adjustment or a guarantee of suitability for every working environment.

During sample review, check how the support legs are fitted, where they are stored and whether the available positions match the intended setup. Confirm the components supplied with the selected order rather than assuming that every accessory shown in product material is included.

For additional rolling workstation options, browse the Trolley Makeup Case collection and confirm each model’s configuration individually.

Compare Three Configuration Examples

Use this comparison to identify which details deserve closer review. It is a configuration reference, not a product ranking or a substitute for the selected model’s specifications.
Model Mirror configuration Power information Setup reference Question to confirm
4029A Removable LED mirror Rechargeable mirror Rear support for desktop placement Does the separate mirror arrangement match the intended tabletop setup?
4620 Fixed LED mirror Lighting requires external DC power; adapter included Evaluate the mirror with the opened case Can the intended working location accommodate the required power connection?
LM6 LED lighted mirror Built-in rechargeable battery Four removable support legs; internal leg storage; two height positions Which functions does the battery support, and when is external power required?

Confirm the Configuration Before Ordering

Once a configuration appears suitable, turn the intended use into a short written requirement. Keep confirmed product features separate from features you would like to request.
  • Mirror use: Specify whether independent desktop placement is required or whether a fixed mirror arrangement is acceptable.
  • Power arrangement: Identify the functions users need and confirm their charging or external-power requirements.
  • Workstation setup: State whether a table is available or a freestanding arrangement is required.
  • Support components: Confirm the supplied components and review their fitting and storage during sample evaluation.
  • Working space: Review the opened configuration in relation to the intended table or workstation area.

For broader questions about case size, wheels and storage, refer to the Trolley Makeup Case Buying Guide. Those considerations complement the mirror, power and setup decisions covered here.

To discuss a project, contact Obeautycase with your preferred mirror arrangement, available power connection and tabletop or freestanding setup requirement. The team can review the relevant model configuration and clarify outstanding details before the order is confirmed.
